Here is an article about it: An add-on Blu-Ray drive for a PC is dirt cheap if you don't already have one. The installation tech took a look at the car ('09 sienna with factory moon roof) and said that he couldn't install the unit so people in the second row seating could see the screen due the sunroof. If you have a collection of Blu-ray discs that you want to play in your current aftermarket DVD player in your Sienna, it's apparently possible to copy from Bluray to DVD assuming you have the software, Blu-ray and DVD-RW drives on a PC. I went to best buy today to find out how much they would charge for an overhead DVD player (Alpine) installed. Or just buy an aftermarket Blu-ray system similar to the DVD system you have now. You might as well punt your 2012 XLE and buy a newer Sienna with Blu-ray. Retail cost of all the parts will likely top $20,000 and it still might be difficult or impossible to interface it all with your 2012 XLE. And then there is the video disc player - MSRP $1,794.94 not including mounting bracket and hardware. And then you'll need the 2017 navigation head unit that allows rear seat passengers to use the rear video - that has an MSRP of $4,878.65. The OEM overhead video screen assembly for the 2017 Sienna Blu-ray system alone has an MSRP of $10,035.71 and that doesn't include the mounting bracket, mounting hardware, cables, remote control, headphones, input port assembly for the back of the center console, new center console if the input port assembly doesn't fit, etc., etc. The parts list is huge and several of the components are very expensive.
